Calcivet Forte.

Fast-absorbing liquid calcium for post-calving and acute deficiency.

Calcivet Forte is a liquid calcium supplement for fast absorption. The standard tool for post-calving calcium supplementation, milk fever recovery, and any acute calcium demand. Includes vitamin D3, B12 and Shatavari for galactagogue support.

Why farmers ask for it

4 reasons farmers ask for Calcivet Forte.

  1. Liquid format = faster absorption.

Liquid calcium is absorbed many times faster than powder. For acute deficiency (post-calving, down cow), this is what matters.

  2. 3,256 mg calcium + 1,677 mg phosphorus per 100 ml.

Heavy daily dose. Designed for the calcium demand of mature lactating cows.

  3. Shatavari for milk-let-down support.

2,000 mg Shatavari per 100 ml supports the let-down reflex and increases milk yield. A traditional galactagogue, standardised.

  4. Cross-species — also for poultry.

1 ml per litre of drinking water for poultry: egg shell strength and improved production.

When to use it

Real situations, real answers.

  • Post-calving recovery

Standard tool in the first 7-14 days after calving. Refills the calcium reserves drained by milk let-down.

  • Acute calcium demand

When you see early signs of milk fever — restlessness, stiffness, reduced appetite — start Calcivet Forte immediately and call your vet.

Calcivet Forte — common questions.

From dosing to storage to who it's right for — answered straight.

  1. How is it different from CalADE Forte or Grasscal?

Calcivet Forte is liquid — fastest absorption, best for acute use and post-calving. CalADE Forte is powder for daily use. Grasscal is also liquid, with a similar profile.

  2. Can I use it daily?

For high-yielding lactating cows, yes — daily use through peak production. For other animals, periodic use during recovery or transition is more cost-effective.

  3. Is it safe for pregnant cows?

Yes — and particularly valuable in late pregnancy when calcium demand spikes. Pair with Pregnabolite for a full late-term programme.
